The generator kept at the hospital could not start due to lack of oil. The death of the newborn caused confusion in the family. Parents are in bad condition, crying. Five years later a child’s laughter was heard in his house. Enraged by the death of the child, people created a ruckus in the hospital.
The in-charge of the hospital gave up the case citing lack of resources. After the incident, the victim’s family has made serious allegations against the hospital staff. Mohammad Saeed Alam of Madhepura district reached the community health center in Rangara with his pregnant wife. The wife gave birth to a baby in the hospital. Due to the negligence of the hospital, the baby died one and a half hours after birth.
The baby was healthy after birth
Family members said that the baby was perfectly healthy when he was born. The nurse also informed him about this. He was also told that the child was kept on oxygen support. The child is fine. Meanwhile, suddenly the hospital’s electricity went out. Generator facility was also not available in the hospital. The operator looking after the generator was not present at the spot. There was no oil in the generator when it arrived. It took about 20 to 25 minutes to fill the oil and start it up. Due to which the child was not supplied with oxygen and the child died.
Happiness turned to grief at the death of the child
The family was in mourning after hearing the news of the child’s death. Suddenly the happiness in the house turned into grief in a moment. When in charge of the hospital Dr. When Ranjan was spoken to, he threatened his staff and asked if the child was crying properly. Panicked, Asha and the nurse said the baby didn’t cry. The victim’s family told him. He alleged that the child died due to the collusion and negligence of doctors and hospital in-charges. After the incident, hundreds of local people gathered at the hospital and caused ruckus in the hospital. Family members allege that the nurse used the phone and misbehaved.
