The child died during delivery in Ghazipur.
Cases of deaths of mothers and their babies are coming to light every day in fake hospitals opened by hoodlums in Ghazipur. Despite this, such hospitals are running haphazardly in every corner of the district. The health department seems to be silent on these incidents. One such case has come to light from Dullapur area on Saturday. Where a pregnant woman gave birth to a baby by cesarean section in a fake hospital, but the baby died shortly after. In this matter, the family members have made serious allegations against the doctor.
Anita Devi, a resident of Chatma village in Dullapur police station area, had labor pains on Friday night. The family then took Anita to the Jhola Chap Doctor’s Hospital in the village for delivery. Where the doctor talked about normal delivery and for this he gave several injections to the woman. When the injections didn’t work either, the doctor put the woman in a tempo and took her to a rough area for about 15-20 minutes to induce a normal delivery.
Asked for fifty thousand rupees for the operation
Even after this, when the woman did not feel pain for a normal delivery, the doctor admitted the woman to the unregistered Jeevandeep Health Care Center in Hardaspur Khurd. There too she was admitted on the pretext of normal delivery, but late at night the doctor told her that an operation would have to be done and for that she would have to deposit around fifty thousand rupees.
