The seat sharing formula between BJP and AJSU for the Jharkhand assembly elections has almost been decided. If sources are to be believed, in a late night meeting at Amit Shah’s residence, it was agreed to give 11 seats to AJSU. The seats will be announced in the next day or two. A meeting was held between AJSU President Sudesh Mahato, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma and Home Minister Amit Shah on this issue yesterday i.e. Saturday evening. Later in the night there was a meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah, Himanta Biswa Sarma and Godda MP of Jharkhand Nishikant Dubey.

According to sources, earlier AJSU was demanding double digit seats. She wanted to get 13 seats but BJP wanted to give her 8 seats. But in a late night meeting on Saturday, it was agreed to give 11 seats to AJSU. AJSU President Sudesh Mahato and Himanta Biswa Sarma held separate meetings regarding seat sharing before meeting Home Minister Amit Shah today.
