Siddhant Chaturvedi left CA for films
There are many Bollywood actors who quit their studies to enter the world of acting, while some even said goodbye to their jobs to pursue a film career. It also features a young actor, who dropped out of CA to make a name for himself in Bollywood. The actor faced some difficulties in the initial period of his career, but then luck took his hand such that he got a chance to work with big actresses like Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif. That actor is none other than ‘Gully Boy’ star Siddhant Chaturvedi.
Siddhant Chaturvedi’s biggest career break was in the 2022 film ‘Gehraiyaan’. He starred opposite Deepika Padukone in the film. Ananya Pandey and Dhairya Karwa were also seen in this film. Even after sharing the screen with superstars like Deepika, Siddhant could not achieve the fame he was looking for. His acting in the film was appreciated, but the film flopped badly.
Dropped out of CA training
Siddhant Chaturvedi, a resident of UP’s Ballia, initially wanted to become a chartered accountant like his father. In an old interview with Elle India, he said that it was during articleship (a practical training program to become a CA) that he decided to quit CA. Siddhant said, “I trained for four-five months, but then I realized I couldn’t do it anymore.”
Thus began acting.
In the year 2016 Siddhant made his acting debut with the web series ‘Life Sahi Hai’ and the following year his show ‘Inside Edge’ came in which he played the role of a cricketer. Siddhant then got an opportunity to work with Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the 2019 film Gully Boy. He received a lot of praise for his portrayal of street rapper MC Sher in the film.
Has also worked with Katrina Kaif
Siddhant was next seen in the romantic comedy Bunty Aur Babli 2. After this he acted in the horror comedy ‘Phone Booth’ with Katrina Kaif and Ishaan Khattar. He was also seen in Phone Booth with Katrina Kaif, but no one knew when the film came and went. After this, Siddhant was seen in the film ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’ released in the year 2023.
Headlines from ‘Yudhra’
Siddhant Chaturvedi is currently in the headlines with his recently released film ‘Yudhara’. The film will release in theaters on September 20. Siddhant plays the role of War in this action thriller directed by Ravi Udaywar. The film featured Malvika Mohanan as his girlfriend, while Raghav Juyal played the villain.
Siddhant will share the screen with Tripti Dimri
Talking about the upcoming project, Siddhant is now all set to share the screen with Tripti Dimri in ‘Dhadak 2’. This sequel to the 2018 film ‘Dhadak’ is going to hit the big screens on November 22. Siddhant is very active on social media and has over 3.8 million followers on Instagram.
