How did Vivek Oberoi get into films?

There is a lot of talk about nepotism in the Bollywood industry. It is alleged that real talent is given less attention in the industry and star kids get more chances. When many artists are asked about this, some artists flatly deny it, but there are some artists who do not hesitate to admit it. Now, actor Suresh Oberoi, who has done negative roles in many Bollywood films, himself has admitted that he had to put in a lot of effort to get his son Vivek Oberoi in films.

Suresh said that he nurtured Vivek from childhood in such a way that he became an actor. Suresh used his links for this. He mentored actor Vivek who passed out from FTII. Apart from this, he also gave acting classes to Vivek. He said that there was a time when he was sitting outside the film producer’s office with pictures of Vivek. According to the actor, this was the second struggle in his life. His hard work paid off and Ram Gopal Varma gave Vivek his break in his film ‘Company’. Vivek’s acting was also appreciated.
