These Pakistani dramas are copied from Bollywood movies
Nowadays, stealing and copying the content of movies or songs has become a common thing. You have often heard that this Bollywood movie is a copy of a South or Hollywood movie. Pakistani shows are very popular in India too, but did you know that some Pakistani shows and movies are copied from Bollywood movies. In fact, the practice of stealing concepts in cinema is very old. Neighboring country Pakistan is also not behind in stealing concepts of films. Many Pakistani shows have been made by stealing accurate stories from Bollywood movies. Pakistan has also copied content from Bollywood films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Let us tell you about them.
Dil Banjara (2016): It’s been 29 years since the Bollywood cult film ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, but the story of the film is still a superhit. Maybe that’s why Pakistani producers copied it. From the first meeting scene to the pre-wedding scene, the plot is the same. In this show too, the lead actress goes abroad and falls in love with a boy there. This plot is also taken from DDLJ. Watching this show, you will feel like you are watching a Shahrukh Khan and Kajol movie, only the faces have changed.
Mohabbat Tuze Alvida (2020)
The concept of famous Pakistani drama ‘Mohabbat Tuze Alvida’ has been copied exactly from Sridevi, Anil Kapoor and Urmila Matondkar’s film ‘Judai’. ‘Judai’ is one of the biggest hits of the 90s. Like this Bollywood film, the story of this Pakistani drama also involves a woman handing over her husband to another woman to become rich.
No Adoption (2014)
The 1995 Aamir Khan and Manisha Koirala starrer film ‘Akele Hum Akele Tum’ was copied into a serial called ‘Koi Apna Nahi’ in Pakistan. The only difference between this Pakistani show and this Bollywood movie is that in the Bollywood movie, Manisha and Aamir Khan have a son, while in the Pakistani show, the actor-actress has a daughter.
Scream (2019)
It is said that the Pakistani show ‘Cheikh’ is copied from the 1993 Bollywood film ‘Damini’. In ‘Damini’, Meenakshi Seshadri goes against her own in-laws to get justice for a rape victim. In ‘Sheekh’ too, Saba Kamar stands up to her family pleading for justice for a girl.
Nazo (2015)
A show named ‘Nazo’ was made in Pakistan, copying the Bollywood film ‘Barfi’ released in 2012. The show tells the story of a mentally challenged girl like Ditto Barfi. Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra were seen in lead roles in ‘Barfi’.
Izterab (2014)
The story of Pakistani serial ‘Izterab’ starring Saba Qamar and Mikal Zulfikar is similar to that of Bollywood film ‘We Are Family’. This play also shows a man with two wives, as shown in We Are Family.
This film was also copied
The film ‘Hameeda’ was also copied from the 1955 Bollywood film ‘Vachan’, which featured Manoj Kumar in the lead role. Vachan’s plotline and characters were copied.
