Miscreants tried to bury two women alive in Rewa

The case of trying to bury two women alive in Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa has started to gather. On one hand, the main opposition party Congress has started a Twitter war over this incident, on the other hand, the state government is also in defensive mode. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the accused will not be released under any circumstances. The incident took place in Mangwana of Rewa district. A video of this incident went viral on social media on Sunday. In which the rebels of the village emptied a dumper full of morang on the women who were opposing the construction of a road in private land.

Both women were buried in this incident. However, the people present at the spot in time rescued both the women from under the morang and took them to the hospital. When the uproar started over the incident, the TV9 Bharatvarsh team tried to get to the bottom of it. It was revealed that there was a land dispute between two families of the same village for about 20 years. In which Gokarn Prasad Pandey and Mahendra Prasad Pandey of one party wanted to build a road on the disputed land. While on the other side Jeevesh Kumar Pandey and Shivesh Kumar Pandey and their wives Mamta Pandey and Asha Pandey were opposing it.

There was a fight on Saturday

Ignoring their protests, Gokarn Prasad Pandey started the road construction work on Saturday. As soon as the information was received, the people of the opposite party also came to the spot and fights started between the two parties. Meanwhile, the accused emptied the dumper on Mamata Pandey and Asha Pandey who were standing near the dumper brought to Morang. With great difficulty Morang was taken away from them. After the video of the incident went viral on social media on Sunday, the Congress party has criticized the government over law and order in the state.

One accused arrested, search for two continues

Congress chief spokesperson Kunal Chaudhary said that the morale of criminals is high under BJP rule. However, seeing the growing commotion, the police swung into action and registered a case against three people, arrested the dumper driver and started a search for the other two accused, Gokarn Pandey and Vipin Pandey. Seeing the situation, Rewa Zone DIG Saket Pandey has also inspected the place. He said there is a land dispute between two families in Hinauta village.

Morang was lowered on women

He said that one party was constructing a road on the disputed land. On the other hand, he was protesting. Meanwhile, the driver of the dumper bringing morang had opened the back gate of the dumper without looking. Due to which the morang fell on both the women and both of them got buried under it. He said that both the women were rushed to the hospital after the incident. From where one woman was discharged only after first aid while the other woman has been admitted. He said that the search is on for two absconding accused in this incident.
