A heartbreaking incident has come to light in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur. Here the boyfriend brutally murdered his married girlfriend. The two were in a relationship for nine years. On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and sent the body for postmortem. The deceased woman’s name is Savita Devi. After committing the crime, the accused absconded. A police team is conducting raids to nab the accused.
The incident took place in Tarinpur village of Minapur police station area. On the statement of mother-in-law Yashoda Devi, the police said that the mother-in-law of the deceased, Yashoda Devi, said that her son was working in another state. The daughter-in-law lived at home with three children. After the meal everyone went to sleep. At the time of the incident, she was sleeping in a hut outside the house when her grandson woke up. When he went outside to go to the bathroom, he saw his mother lying on the veranda in a pool of blood. The neck was slit with a sharp weapon. Seeing the dead body, he started shouting loudly.
Daughter-in-law killed in love affair
Crowds of villagers gathered as soon as they got the information. Yashoda Devi, the mother-in-law of the deceased, said that the daughter-in-law was killed in a love affair. The lover threatened the deceased’s husband Pukar Mahato over the phone. Son Pukar Mahto lives and works in Punjab. Daughter-in-law Savita had an affair with a young man named Bhola Mahato for nine years. The family protested several times. But she didn’t listen to anyone. There were many disputes in the family regarding this matter.
The son also explained to the woman, but it had no effect. The woman has two sons and a daughter. After the murder, the three started crying near the dead body. All three are in a bad condition, crying loudly. The villagers informed the police. Police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it to SKMCH for post-mortem. Minapur police station in-charge Santosh Kumar said that the body has been sent for post-mortem. The matter was investigated. An FIR has been registered against Bhola Mahato on the statement of Yashoda Devi, mother-in-law of the deceased. The accused is absconding after committing the incident. Police are raiding to arrest him.
