According to Uttar Pradesh Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh, a 90-year lease of land will be given to the Tata Group for construction of a temple museum for a token amount of Re 1. This museum will be advanced and built as per international standards. All information about the architecture and history of India’s famous temples will be displayed in the museum.

Tata investment will be through CSR

Tata Group is going to build this museum on its own. Tata Group will invest Rs 650 crore to build this temple museum. This investment will be made under CSR, that is, Corporate Social Responsibility. The state government said that Tata Group had sent the proposal to build this museum in Ayodhya through the Central Government.

The proposal for this museum first came to light last year. After that, senior officials, including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, were briefed in detail about the project. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also briefed about this project. This temple museum proposal was very popular with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Where will the remaining Rs 100 crore be spent?

Arrangements will also be made for a light and sound show at the temple museums. Apart from this, the state government has also given approval to the Tata Group for other development works in the city of Ayodhya. Tata Group will make an additional investment of Rs 100 crore in other development works in the city.
