How is Radhika Madan and Akshay Kumar’s film?
Surfira Review: The importance of the common man has always been ignored in our country because he has always been exploited. The feeling of inferiority instilled in people’s minds that they are inferior makes them more helpless and binds them for life. But if even a common man realizes himself, the passion within him has the power to make even the impossible possible. One such dream was seen by a surfer. Starting own airline. This may sound unusual in itself, but a village man came up with the idea of making people travel by air at a cheap price. In real life this dream was seen years ago by GR Gopinath. Surffire is the story of making a dream come true.
story
A retired army officer standing alone on the terrace. His eyes are looking up at the sky. An airplane is flying in the pupils of those eyes. The people of his village are on board that ship. His own family. Common citizens of the country. Whose eyes are shining. The glory is that they can also avail cheap air travel from one place to another. Wait, this isn’t true yet. These scenes float in the eyes of Veer Mhatre, a retired officer looking up at the sky from the rooftop. He dreams every morning and evening that he will open his own airline and let the common man fly in the air for just 1 rupee.
But this work is not so easy. At first Veer Mhatre has to face many problems at home. Her father is against her decision and this leads to differences between the two. After this, raising funds to open an airline, getting approval from banks and dealing with big entrepreneurs. Amidst all this Veer Mahatre often sees his dreams shattered. But in this journey of life he finds a joy. The name is Rani. Rani also dreams of owning her own business. When these two lovers meet, this dream takes on a new life. This film is a proof that even a dream that grows in the eyes of a common man can come true. The only condition is not to give up till the end. You can see this never-say-die story in theaters now.
Akshay got emotional with his acting
The film’s story is entirely inspired by GR Gopinath, with Akshay Kumar playing the role of Veer Mhatre. Akshay Kumar has once again made fans emotional in this role. People have been seeing this quality in Akshay’s acting for a long time. He makes people laugh so much with his comedy that people hold their stomachs while laughing. He leaves people speechless with his action and the emotional scenes never fail to bring tears to people’s eyes. Some scenes of this film are also very emotional.
When Veer Mahatre reaches home after the death of his father, the scene before his eyes is unbearable. Lacking some money, he cannot buy a flight ticket and by the time he reaches home, his father has passed away. The way Akshay has attempted this scene will keep your eyes glued to the screen for a while. Akshay has once again proved that no matter the challenges, a good actor always has the ability to bounce back.
Screenplay, Dialogues, Acting and Scripting
The film is directed by Sudha Kongara who produced the film Surya with Soorarai Potru. This movie in 2020 was very popular. Like that film, this film is also directed by Sudha. The scripting of the film was done in such a way that the audience remained mesmerized by it for almost 3 hours of the film. It has many emotional scenes that make one feel connected to the film. Some scenes give goosebumps. The dialogues in the film are good but this is one area that could have been worked on a little more closely. Paresh Rawal has played his character with sincerity. Seema Biswas’s character also grabs attention. In this she plays the role of Veer Mhatre’s mother.
Radhika Madan’s role is a surprise package
Not only Akshay is strong in this film, Radhika Madan who played the role of Rani also did a fantastic job opposite him. She stuck to the tone of her character throughout the film and never broke her rhythm. He has made this character unique with his performance. If there was no Rani in Veer Mahatre’s life, he would never have been able to fulfill his dreams. Limiting his passion kept him on the path to success. Both were incomplete without each other. This relationship of mutual coordination is unique and is the crux of the film. And it is in the review with mention of this point. You can definitely watch this movie and it is not only a great time pass movie to enjoy with family but also a means to ignite your mind.
