Robbery at a famous jewelery shop in Sultanpur
In Uttar Pradesh’s Sultanpur robbery case, DGP Prashant Kumar has revealed the incident by holding a press conference. He said that Mangesh Yadav, who was killed in a police encounter, was directly involved in the robbery incident. The disclosure revealed that the bike used in the robbery was stolen by Mangesh Yadav from Jaunpur.
Explaining the incident, ADG Law Amitabh Yash said that Vipin Singh, the main accused involved in the robbery of a jewelery shop in Sultanpur, visited the shop twice. He said that as per the video evidence we have, Vipin raided the jewelery shop on August 13 and 15. Furkan and Gurjar were also involved in this incident along with Vipin Singh. The bike used in the incident was stolen from Jaunpur by Comengrush Yadav.
The miscreants came in two groups and carried out the robbery.
Amitabh Yash said that the criminals came in two groups to commit the robbery. Apart from this accused Pushpendra, W and Sachin also reached there in Bolero. These people were also directly involved in the robbery incident. When Furkan, Anuj, Arbaaz, Mangesh Yadav and Ankit Yadav entered the shop for looting. Apart from this, Vipin Singh, Vinay Shukla, Arvind, Vivek and Durgesh laid a cordon around the shop so that if there was any problem they could fire and protect their colleagues from the police.
He said they could have fired at the police, so everyone could have been chased. Amitabh Yash said that information about all these matters has come to light through CCTV footage and investigation. Not only this, these things have also been found to be true during the interrogation of the arrested criminals. He said that the police and STF have jointly cracked the incident.

Giving information, Lucknow ADG Zone SB Shirodkar said that the robbery was carried out twice before. In which footage is available with us. There were two motorcycles in it. which was used in the robbery incident. Both these motorcycles were stolen from Jaunpur. His footage has also surfaced.

Apart from this, the accused who was a bolero was arrested by the Sultanpur police in an encounter on 2nd September. 15 kg of silver and a motorcycle were recovered from him. He said that even when the miscreants were on the run, some items were found, which were shared with the jewellers.
STF assistance and technical evidence has been taken for disclosure
ADG Zone Lucknow said that the help of STF and technical evidence was taken to unravel the incident. A complete sequel mapped out. Vipin Singh, the mastermind of this incident, surrendered in Rae Bareli jail. After conducting full legal proceedings, we have obtained a five-day remand. Durgesh is among those arrested after questioning Vipin Singh. The latter was arrested. 1.2 kg gold has been recovered from Vipin Singh. He said that earlier Anuj, Arbaaz and Furqan were involved in a robbery incident in Surat.
