An incident of rape of a student studying in a madrasa has come to light in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur. This allegation has been leveled at the Maulvi of the madrasa. The girl told this to her parents. After this, the family members of the victim brutally beat the cleric and handed him over to the police. The police have registered a case and started investigation in this matter.
The victim’s father told the police that there are about 20 Muslim families in a village under Uruwa police station area. In order to give good education to their children, these people bought land and built madrasas by donating. Rahmat Ali, a resident of Vidyani village in Khalilabad Kotwali Police Station area of ​​Sant Kabir Nagar district, was appointed as Maulvi to teach here. He has been teaching here for the last six months. Even today he reached school at 8:00 am and after some time he dismissed the children and kept his daughter back on the pretext of extra class.
The maulvi practiced cruelty in the madrasa
According to the father, he started molesting his daughter after initially teaching her something. When she protested and started screaming, she was locked in a room. After this the Maulvi raped the girl. When the girl was freed from his clutches, she reached home crying. Told the whole thing to my mother.
The maulvi was running after locking the madrasa
After which, when the girl’s parents reached the madrasa with the villagers, the cleric was running away after closing the door. The villagers rushed, caught him and beat him severely. After which he handed over to the police. Villagers present at the spot said that we somehow bought the land at our own expense and built a madrasa on it to give our children a good education. Outsiders cooperated in this work, but the maulvi’s intention was flawed. Today it has tarnished the guru-disciple relationship. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police also reached the spot.

In this regard, SP South Jitendra Kumar said that the accused Maulvi Rahmat Ali has been arrested. The girl has been sent to the hospital for a medical checkup. Also the Madrasa has been built illegally. A letter has also been sent to the District Minority Welfare Officer regarding this.
