Part 2 is a bit scarier than part 1, but this Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao film keeps you entertained. Now let’s talk about this movie in detail.
story

Means Street 2 is a perfect example of what an entertaining film should be, the story has a perfect combination of horror and comedy and the message conveyed by the story without giving anyone a clue makes this film an ideal film. . The film disappointed me a bit in the first half, the reason being Shraddha Kapoor’s entry. His entry into the story came a bit late. But in the second half all my complaints went away. Stree is a great movie that you can enjoy with the whole family.
Film screenings usually held for the media don’t get much applause, let alone whistles, but there were claps and whistles at one or two places in the screening of this film. The entire theater was full, usually 50-60 percent of the media persons present at the screening. But this press show was different. Actually, I always refer to the director of the film. But this time I will start with the author. It is very difficult for the producers to make a part 2 of any film, because here the onus is on them to make the best product out of their own best product. Credit for making Stree 2 better than Stree One goes to writer Niren Bhatt, who also worked on Bhedia and Munjya. Even in horror comedy movies Niren uses emotions a lot and that’s why his stories win our hearts. He said in Bhedia that the real beast is not the wolf but humans who destroy our nature day by day. In Munjya, he introduced us to many strong female characters, who can handle any power when the time comes.
Also in Stree 2, Niren Bhatt narrates the story of Sirkatta, how women living in Chanderi village are relieved because of a woman, how women’s confidence is boosted by the ‘woman’ who picks up men. Having said that, a new angle of the story has been presented to us. Even today, many people do not like women to step out of the responsibility of cooking and live their own lives. Whenever a case of rape comes up, questions are raised about women’s motives and clothing.
Recently, Vishal Pandey’s family who commented on Armaan Malik’s wife in Bigg Boss OTT 3 went so far as to tell Kritika that she deliberately wears tight clothes and comes in front of the boys. Niren made half of Amar Kaushik’s work easy with his script. Otherwise, no one will be able to keep up with Raj and DK’s thinking, let alone the second half of the film. Amar Kaushik keeps us hooked from the beginning to the end. Along with horror and comedy, Amar has also directed logical action scenes. Throughout the film there are scenes with sliding, which will make you scream. It is said in English to ‘expect the unexpected’, that’s what we feel after watching Stree 2, because the story takes a new twist before what we think happens. Acting
If there is a hero in this film after the story, it is ‘Sirkata’ and Shraddha Kapoor is rivaling Sirkata in acting. Shraddha Kapoor always wins the hearts of the audience with her acting and action. Looking at Rajkumar Rao, one cannot believe that he is the same Srikanth who made us emotional a few months back. Rajkumar, through his performance, shows the journey from Vicky to Vicky, who couldn’t even cut a watermelon right in front of him with a knife, to seeing his love in the grip of a snake and splitting his head in two. A stroke. Everything from his comedy timing to his body language was amazing.
Now there are no words to write about Pankaj Tripathi, henceforth while praising any actor in a review, I am thinking of writing that he is like Pankaj Tripathi in acting, just in one line proved that he is the best actor. Not only Pankaj Tripathi’s Rudra Bhaiyya, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana are also doing full justice to their roles. Also, Tamannaah Bhatia, Varun Dhawan and Akshay Kumar have tried to ease the lead characters’ work by giving the necessary twists in the story.
Other technical items
Like Munjya, CGI has been used well here too. One thing I really like about Maddock films is that these films don’t use too many special effects and so it’s easy to connect with the film. The songs of the film are also very funny. Pawan Singh’s last song is amazing. The film uses a lot of close shots. Be it close shots of Sirakta or others, the right angle is very important in these close shots and this angle is visible in this film.
What is missing here
The movie is fun, but some things don’t make sense. If a large hairy object appeared at my feet in the night I would run straight in the opposite direction, but here the girl is shown going and picking up the head herself. Secondly, what was the whole story of Sarakta, I did not understand till the end. This is how Sirkata created woman. Everything else is good, but the backstory is also important. Leaving the backstory unfinished in the name of a new episode is a sin.
See it or not
Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s horror-comedy Stree 2 is full of entertainment, seeing Bittu cry and Rajkummar Rao telling him ‘Tu Bittu Hai, Sneha Kakkar Nahi’ or Varun showing Shraddha Kapoor’s interest in Dhawan Varu, Varu. Many funny dialogues like the ‘don’t be a beast’ warning have been included in the film.
