Street 2 Box Office Collection Day 23Oh woman, stop now…we are not saying this but the hearts of big stars whose film records are being broken by ‘Stree 2’. Starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao, the film has created a buzz at the box office. Even Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2’ and Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’, ‘Stree 2’ has been left behind in many respects. ‘Stree 2’, made on a budget of only 50 crores, has crossed the 500 crores mark in India as well. The figures of how much business this film has done on the 23rd day of its release have also come out.
Directed by Amar Kausish, ‘Stree 2’ is setting new milestones every day in terms of earnings. The Shraddha Kapoor starrer released on 15th August has not let any other film release in the last 23 days stand against it. Along with ‘Stree 2’ films like ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and ‘Veda’ also released in theatres, but Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao’s film has erased all traces of Akshay Kumar and John Abraham’s films. ‘Stree 2’ is earning continuously. According to Saknilk’s latest report, ‘Stree 2’ has collected Rs 4.25 crore on day 23.
‘Stree 2’ beats ‘Gadar 2’ as ‘Dhobi’
This is the lowest grosser of ‘Stree 2’ till date. Along with this, the total collection of the film in India has reached 507.50 crores. This is the first Rs 500 crore film of Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao’s career. Along with this, ‘Stree 2’ has also broken the record of ‘Gadar 2’ by earning 500 crores. ‘Gadar 2’ earned Rs 500 crore in 24 days. But ‘Stree 2’ crossed this mark in just 22 days. ‘Stree 2’ has also far surpassed the total collection of ‘Gadar 2’.

Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Tripti Dimri starrer ‘Animal’ collected over Rs 900 crore at the box office. On its 23rd day of release, ‘Animal’ collected just Rs 1.65 crore at the box office, which is much less than ‘Stree 2’. Not only this, the earnings of ‘Animal’ on the 21st and 22nd are also much lower than the earnings of Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Stree 2’ on the 21st and 22nd. In such a situation the entire share is in the hands of ‘Woman 2’.
On one hand, big directors are focusing on big budget films. Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s low-budget film has created huge records. Even low budget films become big hits if the story is strong.
