In Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, thieves terrorized people with theft incidents. The vicious thieves would break into the house, clean out the jewelry and cash and make off. He used to keep the stolen goods buried in the floor of his flat. Thieves carried out the theft in the deserted house of a jeweler in Harshvardhan Nagar. They stole 30 tolas of gold and 250 grams of silver kept in the house.
The police have arrested the accused and busted the gang. A police team was formed to crack down on the May 17 theft incident in Harshvardhan area, a police official said. The police conducted an investigation to get the clues of the thieves. The footage of around 250 CCTV cameras in the area was verified.

Bhopal Police has found a link to the theft incident in the CCTV footage. Akram alias Shakeel, a resident of New Colony Multi, was spotted there. The police took him into custody and interrogated him. He initially denied committing the crime. As the police became stricter, he spilled everything. He used to form a gang and carry out theft incidents.
Used for breaking the floor and burying goods in it
Akram confessed to the theft and told about his accomplices. He said he told about Shoaib, Zahid, Aamir and Shah Rukh. The police asked Akram about the stolen goods. Shatir used to hide the belongings in his flat. He removed the floor tiles of his flat and buried all the contents there. To avoid any doubt, a plate was placed on the broken floor and a washing machine was placed on top of it. Police have recovered gold and silver jewellery, cars, scooters, bikes and around Rs. Goods worth 50 lakhs have been seized.
