Stock market rocketed ahead of budget, Nifty hit new record

Ahead of the budget, there is tremendous enthusiasm in the stock market and it is continuously running like a rocket. On Tuesday, the Indian stock market started with a slight rise and soon after the market opened, Nifty achieved a new record high. Nifty crossed the 24,650 level for the first time in history and hit a new high of 24,650.05. During this period, the midcap index also hit an all-time high. The rise in IT stocks continues and TCS and Infosys stocks remain strong.

How did the market start?

BSE’s Sensex opened at 80,731 with a slight rise of 66.63 points, while NSE’s Nifty opened at 24,615 with a gain of 29.20 points.

How much has BSE’s market cap increased?

Due to the current market surge, the market capitalization of BSE has shrunk to Rs 456.68 lakh crore and is at US$ 5.46 trillion. 3,186 BSE stocks are traded, out of which 2,167 are up. 911 stocks are down and 108 stocks are trading flat. 116 stocks have been placed in the upper circuit and 67 stocks in the lower circuit. 146 stocks are at a 52-week high and 10 stocks are on a decline in the same time period.
