Women in Uttarakhand’s Udham Singh Nagar district are more vigilant these days. They are afraid that someone will steal their undergarments. This fear has not spread like that. For the past few days, women’s undergarments that were left to dry on terraces and outside the house have been steadily disappearing. Many women also went to the police with such complaints. When the police came to know, they were also surprised. Police have started tracking this unique thief with the help of CCTV footage.
These days a video is going viral on social media in Udham Singh Nagar district, which belongs to Dineshpur police station area. CCTV footage has captured a youth stealing women’s undergarments that are left to dry on rooftops and outside homes and throwing them away after soiling them. This sequence was going on for a long time. When the police examined the CCTV footage, they identified the youth and took him into custody. The police said that the youth was not mentally well, due to which he was committing this act.

Udham Singh Nagar police said that incidents of theft of women’s undergarments are coming to light every day. The women filed a complaint in the Dineshpur police station, after which the police have registered a case and are investigating. The police examined the CCTV footage of the area. Meanwhile, the police seized the CCTV footage installed at the community health center in Dineshpur. In this CCTV footage, the thief who stole the undergarment of the women of the area was caught.
The undergarment thief is mentally ill
Police identified the thief and took him into custody. During interrogation, the accused thief said that after stealing women’s undergarments, he used to dirty them and then throw them away. In this whole matter SP City Manoj Katyal said that the accused youth has been detained by the police. During interrogation, it was revealed that the youth was not mentally well. Now the police has taken further action.
