The police received information over the phone that a person. After which the police reached her house and took out the body of the woman. The police have also arrested the accused’s son. The police itself registered an FIR in the matter and also arranged for the woman’s last rites.
According to the available information, this entire matter is from Rajkot in Gujarat. Where a man named Nilesh, who lives in a government quarter, killed his mother. Rajkot West Zone ACP Radhika Bharadwaj said that a call came from a person named Bharat. He informed over the phone that Nilesh had killed his mother. After this, the police reached his house and recovered the body of 48-year-old Jyotiben Gosai. When police interrogated Nilesh, he confessed to killing his mother.
When the police interrogated the accused Nilesh, he stated that he was mentally disturbed. He was also about to commit suicide with a knife but his mother stopped him and snatched the knife from his hand. After this, the accused Nilesh strangled the mother with a sheet and committed suicide. After this he also posted a status on Instagram in which he shared a picture of himself with his mother. On a picture with his mother, he wrote, ‘Sorry mother I killed you, I miss you. Om Shanti.’
Mother was mentally disturbed
Accused Nilesh’s mother Jyothiben was suffering from mental illness for a long time. Nilesh’s father also abandoned him and Jyothiben 20 years ago. After which mother and son lived alone. According to Nilesh, Jyothiben had stopped taking his mental illness medication for about a month, due to which his health deteriorated. Due to this reason, there was daily quarrel between mother and son.
The husband refused to take the body
Police arrested Nilesh and sent Jyotiben’s body for postmortem. After the post-mortem, when the body arrived, the police called the woman’s husband and asked him to take the body. But, her husband refused to take the dead body of the woman. He said he had no relationship with the woman. After this, the police arranged for the woman’s last rites and filed an FIR against the son himself.
