While confessing to the murder, Sanjay told the police about other people involved in the murder. Sanjay said that three more people were involved in the murder, including Surendra Gond of Gazipur district of UP, Rohit Rai and Amar Kumar, a resident of Sohni Patti Mohalla of the city.
