There is no sign of abating in the terrorist incidents in Jammu and Kashmir. On Monday, terrorists attacked an Indian army convoy in Kathua district. Terrorists ambushed and targeted an army vehicle in which five army soldiers were martyred. In which a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) is also involved. Five other soldiers were injured in this cowardly attack. It is being said that the terrorists first attacked the army vehicle with a grenade and then fired. President of National Conference and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Dr Farooq Abdullah has strongly criticized Pakistan for this action of terrorists.

Former Chief Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah said that terrorism does not help anyone. Targeting Pakistan, he said that India’s neighboring country i.e. Pakistan, which sends terrorists and thinks that if it tries to bring about change in Kashmir through terrorist incidents, it will never happen, it will fail. The former CM said that five jawans of the country have been martyred while five jawans are hospitalized in critical condition. He asked if such incidents would change the border.

‘Don’t force Pakistan to fight’

The President of the National Conference said that due to such incidents it might happen that the anger of the people of India would rise to such an extent that they would have to resort to war. Farooq Abdullah said that Pakistan is already ruined, so it should think about this. He further said that war would only lead to destruction in both countries and nothing more. He clearly said that Pakistan should stop carrying out terrorist activities. What Pakistan is doing is completely wrong.

Farooq Abdullah further said that such action of Pakistan is being strongly condemned all over the world. No country is ready to accept it, all countries are against it. He said that whatever Pakistan is doing will not help anything. The former CM said that there is mourning in the homes of the martyred jawans. Even his family members would be saying why India is not taking any action, why is it sitting silent. Giving a clear warning to the neighboring country, he said that if Pakistan wants India to go to this extent, it should be ready, otherwise India will not stop at any cost. He said that terrorism will destroy Pakistan.

‘Talk will happen only when terrorism ends’

Former CM Farooq Abdullah said that talks between the two countries will take place only when terrorist activities are completely stopped. Both things cannot go together. If we want friendship we have to make a way for it and terrorism is not the way. They should take strict action in this regard. He further said that this is not the first time that soldiers of the country have been martyred. Our jawans have been martyred for years. Abdullah asked Pakistan if they wanted mourning in their home as well. He said that Pakistan has to stop all this now, before it is too late.
