Additional Sessions Judge Vinod Kumar Meena was hearing the anticipatory bail plea of ​​accused brother-in-law. Vikaspuri police station registered an FIR against the accused brothers-in-law under the penal provisions of rape, unnatural sex, torture of a married woman, criminal breach of trust and common intention. The court also made some important observations in its order on September 18.

The court said, ‘After hearing the arguments of both the parties and perusing the bail application, the reply to the bail application and the attached documents, it is found that the charges are of a serious nature. However, it is revealed from the WhatsApp chat that the accused and the complainant were on good terms. It said that although the complainant made allegations of molestation in September and November 2022, it is surprising that she did not file a complaint.
Court warned
The court said that no message or e-mail was sent to any member of the family regarding the incident. It has also been observed that there is a marital dispute going on between the complainant and the brother of the accused. The court granted anticipatory bail to the accused sister-in-law on the condition that the accused will not threaten the complainant’s sister-in-law or her family members and join the investigation when required. The court also said that in case of arrest, the accused should be given a personal bond and Rs. 25,000 (each) to be released on bail.
