They stole two buffaloes, then when the villagers found out about them, they surrounded the thieves and kept them locked up for the whole night. The villagers were standing with sticks and rods in their hands due to which the thieves felt that their lives were in danger. The thieves called the police on dial 112 to save their lives. The police reached the spot and with great difficulty pacified the villagers and nabbed the thieves.
Three thieves broke into Gausganj in Bhamora police station area of ​​Bareilly on Friday night and stole two buffaloes. The villagers woke up after hearing the voice of the thief. When the villagers raised their voices and chased the thieves, they went and hid in the sugarcane fields. A crowd of villagers surrounded him with sticks in hand. The villagers surrounded the thieves in the sugarcane field all night. The villagers tried to get him out but he did not come out and hid there. The thieves found it difficult to save their lives as the villagers were very angry.
Seeing his life in danger, a thief dialed 112 and called the police saying, ‘Sir, save our life.’ The police who arrived on the information took the thieves out of the farm and put them in the car, but the villagers got angry. He also tried to attract thieves. The police somehow rescued the thieves and took them to the police station. The villagers had recovered the stolen buffaloes from the thieves in the night itself. A video of the incident has also surfaced in which hundreds of villagers can be clearly seen with sticks and weapons in their hands, while the police are now questioning the thieves.
Policemen injured
Let us tell you that the policemen were also beaten up while protecting the thieves from the villagers. Several policemen have been injured after being entangled in barbed wire in fields. There was anger among the villagers against the police. Villagers allege that gangs of cattle thieves are running under the protection of Aliganj police. The villagers also raised slogans. Bhamora police expressed displeasure for coming late. There is anger in the village due to the incident of theft. Villagers say that thieves enter the village every day. Several complaints have been made to the police regarding this but no action has been taken. However, in this case, the police say that three thieves have been caught and they are being interrogated.
