The Collector waived the fee by issuing TC to these students
A strange incident was witnessed at the collector’s public hearing in Madhya Pradesh’s Betul on Tuesday afternoon. Here, two female students filed a complaint against their school principal. He said he was not able to pay his school fees. Due to which the principal has closed his TC. Based on this complaint of the students, the Collector immediately called the Assistant Commissioner of Tribal Development Department and sent both the students to the school in his car and sent them to T.C.
Meanwhile, the Assistant Commissioner Tribal Development Department has also waived off the outstanding fees of both the students after talking to the principal. The case is of Good Shepherd School located in Shahpur, 39 km from Betul district headquarters. Pari Thakur and Palak Thakur, two female students studying in this school, owed about 70 thousand rupees in fees. As these two girls could not afford such high fees, they decided to change schools.

Now the problem was that the principal of this school refused to issue the TC without depositing the fee. After a long journey around the school, the two girls walked 39 km to reach the collector’s public hearing on Tuesday and narrated their plight. Hearing their problem, Collector Narendra Kumar Suryavanshi immediately called Assistant Commissioner of Tribal Development Department Shilpa Jain and sent the two girls to school in his car.

As soon as Assistant Commissioner Shilpa Jain spoke to the school management and waived off the pending fees of both the students and issued a TC in their name, the faces of both the students lit up. These students said that they got admission in another school, but could not start their studies due to lack of TC. Said, in the public hearing, the collector listened to their pain and found an immediate solution. Apart from this, traveling in his car was also a lot of fun.
