A shocking incident has happened where a woman poisoned her 9-month-old child. After this, the woman ended her life by hanging herself. This shocking incident happened in Shegaon village of Warora taluka of Chandrapur district. The name of the deceased woman is Pallavi Parohe (27) and she committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence. Police said that the boy has been admitted to a private hospital in Chandrapur and his condition is stable. But he has lost his shelter forever and that is why he is expressing grief. It is believed that this suicide was committed due to domestic dispute.
Meanwhile, on receiving information about the incident, Shegaon police reached the spot and sent the body of deceased Pallavi to Upazila Hospital, Warora for post-mortem. However, her father has lodged a complaint with the police that his daughter did not commit suicide but her in-laws were harassing her for money. Accordingly, Shegaon police registered a case under the Dowry Act and arrested deceased Pallavi’s husband and Deera. Further investigation is underway.
