The body of an unidentified child tied in a plastic bag was found floating in the water at Mohini Dam, which falls under Narwar police station area of ​​Karira assembly here, on Thursday afternoon. The police took the body out of the water and sent it for postmortem. After this the matter was being investigated. Now the police has disclosed this matter within 24 hours.

Briefing about the case, Karaira SDOP Shivnarayan Mukati said that Kedar Singh Yadav, in-charge of Narwar police station, investigated the case after the child’s body was found in Mohini Dam. After this, during the investigation, it was found that the dead body kept in the sack was that of an innocent 7-year-old boy, named Raj Vanshkar. The boy’s father Ravi Vanshkar lives in Ward 15 Sikandarpur of Narwar. According to information, the child had chicken pox due to which he died.

On September 9, the child died in a hospital in Narwar. After the death of 7-year-old child Raj Vanshkar, the family followed a strange ritual. After the child’s death, he neither buried his body nor performed his last rites. As per the old tradition, the family carried the child’s body on two bikes to Mohni Damal and threw the body into the water there. They tied stones in a plastic bag and floated the body of the innocent child in the river. Now people saw dead body at Mohini Dam, after which there was commotion.

Panic spread among the people after seeing the dead bodies in the water.

Seeing the dead body in the water, people immediately informed the police. The police immediately reached there after receiving the information about the child’s body. After this, the body of the child was taken out of the water and examined. As the body was unclaimed, the police were investigating the matter in every possible way. After close interrogation and investigation, the police solved the case in about 24 hours.
