A shocking case has come to light from Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh. Here a prisoner’s wife came to meet him in jail. But the police arrested the woman prisoner. Because the woman brought charas (narcotic substance) hidden in her private part on the demand of her inmate husband. The police also arrested the woman and produced her in the court. Then he was also sent to jail.
It is being told that the husband of the jailed woman was a drug addict. He demanded charas from his wife. In such a situation, when his wife went to meet him in jail, he started carrying eight grams of hashish hidden in his private part. But looking suspicious, the women policemen deployed for security stopped them. Hashish was found on him during the search, after which he was arrested. Later he was produced in court and sent to jail.
Police said- Gulsher, a resident of Hasanpur in Amroha, has been lodged in Bijnaur Jail for the past several days in a criminal case. Gulsher is a drug addict and consumes hashish. Addiction is such that one cannot live without drugs even in prison. He also sent his wife Almina to jail to satisfy his drug cravings. Whenever Almina visited him in jail, he demanded to bring hashish.

At first Almina was reluctant but when the pressure increased, she agreed to deliver the drugs to the jail. Two days ago, Almina visited her husband in jail. During this time she was entering the jail with about 8 grams of charas in her private part.

But when the women policemen deployed for security searched her before entering the jail, they became suspicious. Later, on investigation, a bundle of charas was recovered from Almina. Seeing this, the jail administration was in a frenzy. Almina was immediately taken into custody and handed over to the local police. The police registered a crime and sent him to jail. Thus the husband’s drug addiction sent the wife to jail under the NDPS Act.
