A shocking case has come to light in Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh. An elderly woman admitted to a private hospital here died during treatment. Instead of taking her body home, the old woman’s son-in-law went straight to the bank in the car to withdraw the money deposited by the old woman. After depositing the withdrawal form, the son-in-law informed the bank manager that his mother-in-law was ill. When the bank manager approached the woman for verification, there was no movement in her body. On which the bank manager refused to withdraw the money.
This case that breaks humanity and relationships is from Tadiawan Police Station area. Briefing the matter, the bank manager said that after the son-in-law requested for verification, he reached the car to see the old lady. Seeing no movement in the body, he also checked the woman’s pulse. There was no life in the body. After this he stopped the payment.
The woman was undergoing treatment in a private hospital
When the payment was stopped, the family members including the son-in-law of the deceased old woman left the body in the bank and created a ruckus. The incident was then reported to the local police. ASP Martand Singh said that according to information provided by local people and bank employees, 60-year-old Ram Shri, a resident of Ramupur Sakhin in Tadiawan police station area, was ill for a long time. He was undergoing treatment in a private hospital. Here, when the situation did not improve, the doctors responded. Ram Shri died on the way to another hospital.
49 thousand rupees were deposited in the bank account
ASP Martand Singh said that Ram Shri’s bank account was in a branch of PNB Bank, in which Rs 49,000 was deposited. In order to extract the money, Ram Shri’s son-in-law made him sit alive in the car with the dead body. He then reached the bank planning to withdraw the money. However, the scheme could not succeed due to the activism of the bank manager. After the commotion, the police reached the spot, took possession of the woman’s body and sent it for post-mortem. Necessary legal action is being taken in the entire matter.
