Karan questions Shah Rukh on retirement, but Shah Rukh silences him with his answer.

This viral video is from the IIFA Awards stage. In the video, Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan are seen standing on the stage and talking. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan tells Karan about the legend. He says, “Legends know when to stop, when to retire. Like the great Sachin Tendulkar, the footballer Sanil Chhetri, the great tennis star Roger Federer, they all knew when to retire. This time is yours. Please go.”

To this Karan Johar says, “So why don’t you retire according to this standard?” On this Shah Rukh says, “Actually I am a legend of another kind. Dhoni and I are legends of many kinds. Even after saying no, IPL is played 10 times. Vicky Kaushal, sitting in this audience, says, “Retirement is for legends, sports is forever.”

The film Animal won the best film of the year award. Apart from this, Anil Kapoor has been given the Best Supporting Actor Award for ‘Animal’ and Shabana has been given the Best Supporting Actress Award for Azmi for ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’.
