Season 2 of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ is going to stream on Netflix from today i.e. September 21. Not only Kapil Sharma but his colleagues Archana Puran Singh, Krishna Abhishek, Sunil Grover are also very excited about the new season of the show. Kapil’s team has many actors for whom the show proved to be a turning point in their career. Through this show, almost all actors have got a chance to meet and impress their favorite actors and one of these actors is Sunil Grover. Recently, in an exclusive conversation with TV9 Hindi Digital, Sunil Grover revealed how Shah Rukh Khan hugged him regardless of his clothes and he will never forget it.
In fact, when Shah Rukh Khan appeared on Kapil’s show ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ along with the entire cast of the film during the promotions of his film ‘Dilwale’, Sunil Grover gave a comedy-filled dance performance to his song ‘Gerua’. Shah Rukh did it. During this dance he also applied saffron color on his body. He was completely painted in saffron from head to toe. Seeing him in this avatar, everyone from Kajol to Varun Dhawan was running away from him so that the saffron color that Sunil splashed on himself wouldn’t get on his expensive clothes. But Shahrukh Khan did not do this.

Recalling the incident, Sunil Grover said, “Everyone was having fun. But that’s when Shahrukh came to me and he didn’t care about his expensive clothes, he hugged me straight away. After he hugged me his clothes got ruined. But he still danced with me.” Sunil continued, “That moment was very special for me. I have always been a big fan of Shah Rukh Khan. I’m still there. It was a big deal for me that he came up to me, hugged me and even did his iconic step with me.

Sunil Grover says it was nothing short of a dream for him to do Shah Rukh Khan’s signature step with outstretched arms. I consider myself lucky. Even today when I meet Shah Rukh Khan, he meets me with the same love. Many people tell me that even today when they hear Gerua song, they remember my performance, not Shahrukh-Kajal’s. That song is etched in his mind.
