Shah Rukh Khan honored in Switzerland
Shah Rukh Khan, a boy from Delhi who has become the king of Bollywood today. He has millions of fans from home and abroad. He has been awarded many awards and was now honored in Switzerland. where he revealed that he had bought the rights of his mother’s favorite film.
Shah Rukh Khan said that he watched Dilip Kumar’s film ‘Devdas’ with his parents. He never thought that he would get the chance to play the same famous character in the future. He said that his production company Red Chillies Entertainment has bought the rights of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2002 ‘Devdas’. The film also starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff. ‘Devdas’ was also screened at the film festival.
Problems were faced in making the film
Shah Rukh Khan also said that he had to face many difficulties in making this film. Due to financial problems, the producer left the film. Things were very difficult. He said, “It was the most expensive film made in India, so it had to go through a lot of problems. Due to financial problems and the disappearance of the producer, we had to finish the film in a few days. It was taking overtime, it was over budget, but I had so much fun doing the film because I felt it was a tribute to my mother, who loved the film.”

Shah Rukh Khan further said, “Many actors in Mumbai asked me not to do the film saying that it is not in your zone. You are more pop culture. But I actually wanted to do it because it was like fulfilling an unfulfilled dream and my mother’s love. We also showed it to Dilip Kumar and he appreciated it. I give full credit to director Sanjay Leela Bhansali for this film.
Preparation for ‘King’
Last year Shah Rukh released three films ‘Denki’, ‘Jawaan’ and ‘Pathan’ and all three films received good response from the audience and the films proved to be blockbusters. Now he will soon be seen in ‘King’ with Abhishek Bachchan. His daughter Suhana Khan will also be seen in this. Sujoy Ghosh is directing it. For this film, Shahrukh said that he will start practicing for action scenes.
