Where is Salman busy?
Shah Rukh Khan along with Karan Johar and Vicky Kaushal entertained the crowd at IIFA i.e. International Indian Film Academy Awards. The video of her dance with Vicky on the song ‘Tauba Tauba’ is going viral on social media. On one hand, fans are very happy with Shah Rukh Khan hosting IIFA 2024 after years, on the other hand, they are also missing Salman Khan, who has been hosting IIFA for the last two years. Let’s know why Salman did not attend IIFA this year?
The IIFA Awards are not actually held in Mumbai. So, whenever a big superstar is approached to host IIFA, his budget, his availability, his conditions, an agreement is made between the organizer and the actor and then preparations for the show begin. The biggest reason to approach Shah Rukh instead of Salman this year is the timing of the IIFA Awards.

Salman is busy
Last year i.e. in 2023, IIFA was organized in the month of May and in the year 2022, IIFA was organized in the month of June. Both were hosted by Salman Khan, but this time Salman could not give time to IIFA even though he wanted to, as he is currently wrapping up the shooting of his film ‘Sikandar’ so that he can spare time for Bigg Boss’ busy schedule. . IIFA co-founder Andrea Timmins has also confirmed this.
Know why Salman did not attend IIFA
Talking about IIFA 2024, co-founder Andrea Timmins said that Salman Khan is our family to us and we have known each other for almost 30 years. That everyone IIFA has been a part of and we are missing him a lot this year. In fact, it was always my dream to bring Salman and Shah Rukh together on the IIFA stage. But unfortunately, due to the busy schedule of Bigg Boss and the shooting of his films, Salman could not attend IIFA this year. Although Andrea Timmins was hoping that Salman would take time out on September 28 to come to Dubai to participate in the show, but it didn’t happen.

It is not easy to bring all the actors together
When any award show is organized abroad, the artist along with his family and his team also travel with him. In such a case, his first class travel, accommodation in 5 star hotels, food and drinks and his traveling expenses in luxury vehicles are borne by the organizing committee of the show. When these award shows are held in Mumbai, the cost is very low. This is the reason why not all Bollywood actors can attend award functions held abroad.
