In Rajasthan’s Gangapur City district, SDMs who went to remove encroachments clashed with villagers. Meanwhile, a woman pulled SDM Sunita Meena’s hair. The woman held the SDM’s hair for about 20 seconds. The policemen present there with great difficulty freed the SDM from the clutches of the woman. The villagers have accused the SDM of pushing the old man. The video of this matter is fast becoming viral.
The case is of Nad village in Todabhim area of the sub-division of the district. Dharmakanta has been built here on agricultural land. According to the local administration, it has been built without approval. A notice to remove it was also given earlier. Around 4 pm on Thursday, a team of police and administration arrived with bulldozers to remove the encroachment. Meanwhile, the people present there opposed the action. A scuffle broke out between the local people and the administration.

Suddenly a woman present there came in front of the bulldozer to stop it. SDM Sunita Meena removed the woman from there. The angry woman grabbed the SDM’s hair and made him bend down. Seeing this, the policemen present there ran to save him. The woman barely let go of the SDM’s hair. The video of this incident is going viral which is 1 minute 17 seconds long.
In the video, the friction between the SDM and the woman is seen. After the video surfaced, SDM Sunita Meena said that the administration had gone to the village to remove encroachment. Meanwhile, people protested and a brawl broke out between them. This matter should not be exaggerated.
‘Father pushed, mother fought’
Totaram Meena, the son of the woman with whom the SDM clashed, says that Dharamkanta is built on dangerous soil. On August 27, he received a notice from the Tehsildar. He presented his views before the Tehsildar through his lawyer. They alleged that a team with bulldozers came to remove Dharmakanta without any notice on Thursday. He said that the SDM had pushed his father and that he was ready to fight with his mother. Totaram alleged that the SDM treated us like this because of some enmity. As matters escalated, the administration returned.
