Uproar due to rain in Rajasthan

Rains have caused havoc in Rajasthan. Monsoon has been a disaster for the state this year. The situation has worsened due to continuous torrential rains for the last three days. Water is being seen everywhere due to which people are facing great difficulty. People cannot go out of their houses due to rain. Meanwhile, it has been decided to close schools in 5 districts of the state due to heavy rains.

A flood-like situation has occurred in 7 districts including capital Jaipur, Dholpur, Karauli, Bharatpur, Dausa, Tonk, Sawai Madhopur. Roads are flooded and people’s houses are also flooded. Meanwhile, the Collector of Jaipur has issued an official order and closed schools in Jaipur, Dausa, Karauli and Gangapur cities till tomorrow i.e. August 13 (Tuesday). This holiday is only for children and not for teachers. They have to come to school.

Dams and ponds were filled with rain

On the morning of Monday, July 12, heavy rains lashed the eastern part of the state, including Jaipur. Due to which water was filled everywhere. Rivers and canals are rising in Chakshu Nagar. The situation is such that water is flowing on the Chakshu Kotkhawda State Highway due to the strong flow of Dhudh river. At the same time, with most dams and lakes filling their banks, the umbilical cord is in danger of breaking. At the same time, rains in Bansoor in Kotputli have flooded houses all around. Here the road of 50 houses of Banjara Colony was blocked.

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has declared an alert. According to which, light to moderate rain with thundershower is likely at some places in Bharatpur, Sawai Madhopur, Dausa, Karauli, Alwar districts, while heavy rain is likely at some places. While moderate rain warning has been issued in Jaipur, Bundi, Tonk, Sikar, Nagaur, Jhunjhunu, Baran, Kota, Bhilwara districts. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Jaipur, Bharatpur, Ajmer and Kota divisions in the next 5 days.
