SBI Amrit Vrishti: SBI launches ‘Amrit Vrishti’ deposit scheme; this amount of interest will be available on 444 days’ tenure

State Bank of India launches Amrit Vrishti scheme

Fixed deposit (FD) is one of the most favourite investment options for Indian investors. Keeping this in mind, the State Bank of India (SBI) has started a new term deposit scheme called Amrit Vrishti. It is best for investors who want stable returns on their savings. You can earn huge benefits from this scheme. According to the SBI, this scheme has come into effect from July 15, 2024. According to this, you can get up to 7.25% interest per annum on an investment of 444 days. Not only this, senior citizens will also get an additional 0.50% interest. This means that senior citizens will get 7.75 percent interest on this term deposit scheme.

Amrit Vrishti Yojana is available for investment till 31st March 2025. Investors can invest in this scheme by visiting the SBI branch or through YONO SBI and YONO Lite (mobile banking app) and SBI Internet Banking (INB). It facilitates both online and offline transactions.

It will help meet the needs of customers.

Commenting on the launch of the new scheme, Dinesh Khara, Chairman, SBI, said that the ‘Amrit Vrishti’ scheme is a new version of the term deposit scheme, designed to meet the needs of a variety of customers. Investing in this scheme will help customers grow their money.

Amrit Kalash is also a better option.

SBI’s special FD scheme Amrit Kalash is also a better investment option. This deposit scheme for retail customers offers higher interest rates for common citizens and senior citizens. The bank launched it in April 2024. You can invest in this special FD till 30th September 2024. As per the bank’s website, this scheme is for 400 days, during which the interest is available at a rate of 7.10%. While senior citizens can get interest up to 7.60%.
