Salman Khan Movie Kick 2 Update: Now there is good news for the fans who have been waiting for the sequel of Salman Khan’s film ‘Kick’ (Kick 2) for the last 10 years. Now the wait for the film is about to come to an end. The makers have already made preparations to make it. Salman is all set to return to the big screen once again as Devi Lal Singh i.e. Devil.
A report in Mid-Day says that director Sajid Nadiadwala is keen to bring Kick 2 to the big screen. Sajid is working hard on the script of the film and is trying to ensure that the story of the film lives up to the expectations of the people. Sajid is trying to start shooting for the film next year.
The report said that Sajid is writing the script of the film. Along with this, he also has to figure out the schedule of the film, as many films are currently being worked on under the banner of his production house. In fact, he wants everything to be done right so that he can devote his full attention to directing Kick 2. Indeed, Sajid Nadiadwala’s production company is also producing Salman’s Sikandar.

Sajid Nadiadwala and Salman Khan are good friends. Sajid entered the world of direction with Salman’s kick. However, he has not directed any film since then. Now after almost 10 years, he has again started preparing for his next film. Usually Sajid is active as a producer. But he has also scripted many films. He has written films like Housefull, Housefull 2, Housefull 4, Baaghi 2, Baaghi 3, Heropanti, Bachchan Pandey and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
Kick was a blockbuster
Fans loved Salman Khan’s desi Robin Hood style in Kick, which released almost 10 years ago. Nawazuddin Siddiqui was in a negative role in the film, but people liked his acting in the film. Especially his way of laughing went viral. Apart from this, the film featured Jacqueline Fernandez as the female lead and Randeep Hooda as a policeman. You might not know, but 2014’s Kick was the Hindi adaptation of the Telugu film of the same name.
100 crores, bumper earnings
Kick is in the list of Salman Khan’s highest grossing films. The makers spent around Rs 100 crores to make this film, but the film grossed bumper and made the makers rich. The film earned Rs 231.85 crore at the domestic box office. Apart from this, the film did a business of 68 crore rupees abroad. The film hit the big screens on 25 July 2014.
Salman busy with Sikandar
Salman’s Kisii Ka Bhai Kisii Ki Jaan did not receive a good response at the box office. In such a situation, Salman is now choosing his next project after much thought. Currently, Salman Khan is working in Sikandar directed by AR Murugadoss. Salman is going to team up with Rashmika Mandanna for the first time in this film.
