The budget has announced construction of logistics park in Pitampur in Dhar and 6 ring roads in Indore, Jabalpur, Sagar and Gwalior including state capital Bhopal. Apart from this, provision has also been made for road development fund for the metros and cities of the state.
Now development will take wings in Baba Mahakal’s city. In the budget, it has been announced to build a ropeway from the railway station here to the Mahakal temple to relieve the pilgrims coming to Ujjain and the city from jams. With the construction of the ropeway, it will take only 7 minutes for the devotees to reach the Darbar of Baba Mahakal from the railway station.
The ropeway will be 1.762 km long
The ropeway project from Ujjain Railway Station to Baba Mahakal Mandir will be 1.762 km long. There is a provision of Rs 50 crore for its construction. The ropeway will be built on 13 towers. Three stations will also be constructed between the railway station and Baba Mahakal Mandir. Over 1 km long, the ropeway will be built with mono cable detachable gondola technology. Its construction will bring great relief to the devotees as well as the people of Ujjain.
Logistics Park will boost industrial areas
Madhya Pradesh’s first multi-modal logistics park will be built near Pithampur in Dhar district. 60 crore rupees have been allocated in the budget for this. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of this park on October 2 in the year 2023. This state-of-the-art logistics park will be constructed in three phases in an area of ​​255.17 acres. The construction of this park is expected to provide employment opportunities to the youth. The new logistics park in Madhya Pradesh is expected to provide around 10 thousand jobs in various sectors. The logistics park will boost the existing industrial areas of Ujjain, Dhar, Dewas, Barwani, Khandwa and Pithampur.
6 ring roads will be constructed in 5 cities of the state
Six ring roads will be constructed in five cities of Madhya Pradesh. These cities include Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Sagar and Gwalior. It will be built with funds from the budget for infrastructure development. About 10 thousand crore rupees have been announced in the budget for the infrastructural development of the state. In this project, the central government will spend 29 thousand 710 crore rupees for the state in 5 years. will spend These include projects of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and Public Works Department (PWD).
