First of all I would like to thank the listeners. It is only because of his love that I have reached here. I consider myself lucky. I feel that I am lucky because there are many more talented directors than me in this industry. But the way audiences have loved me and my films and my shows is truly magical. After seeing their love, I can only thank them with folded hands.

Sir, people call you OG meaning original ‘Khatron Ka Khiladi’, what was the danger in your life that proved to be a turning point for you?

I wouldn’t call it a threat. But everyone has to take risks and I think everyone should take those risks. I don’t remember the exact moment. But this show (Threat or playerIt was dangerous even for me to do that. I was scared when I was offered this show 10 years ago. I thought I was doing this show. But will the TV viewers like me or not? Because the show was big and I was the director. But to move forward in life one has to face such challenges. Even when you do films, sometimes you succeed, sometimes you don’t. But I would call it a ‘leap of faith’ (a big decision taken with hope) not a threat.

Rohit, in many reality shows we see arbitrariness and misbehavior of the contestants, but not in your show, do you scare the contestants who participate in this show?

I believe our show is a ‘happy go lucky’ show. Ever since I have been associated with the show, I have tried to make it entertaining. Although there is definitely cursing and shouting during the stunt, we all work together for 40 to 50 days. Something happens in the ‘heat of the moment’ and that’s normal too. But if we talk about the whole show, I make sure that we show stunts to people. Laughter and jokes, should be the mood of happiness and has become the hallmark of this show for the last 10 years. Families watch this show, youngsters watch this show and even children watch this show.

There are very few TV shows that even children watch. The way people enjoy watching my films, I want to create the same atmosphere for the audience with this show, that is, there should be action, comedy and emotion, but at the same time it is taken care that nothing is overdone. Must be included in the show.
