Traffic police has issued an advisory
Monsoon has arrived in Delhi. Heavy rain has been lashing various parts of the capital since midnight. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall will continue for the next 5 days. Heavy rain is likely from June 28 to July 2. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no chance of sunshine during these 5 days.
The people of Delhi seem to be getting relief from the heat due to continuous rains, but waterlogging in many places is making it difficult to step out of the house. While going out from home to office, hospital, school or any important work, one has to face heavy traffic. Delhi’s roads are in bad shape after just one day of rain. Delhi Police has also issued a traffic advisory so that people do not have to face trouble in such a situation.
Which pathways are affected?
According to a Delhi Police traffic advisory, traffic on the Ring Road from Naraina to Moti Bagh and vice versa will be affected due to waterlogging under the Dhaula Kuan flyover.

Traffic on both the carriageways from Kamala Market to Connaught Place and vice versa on Minto Road will be affected due to inundation of Minto Bridge underpass.
Traffic will be affected on both carriageways on Veer Banda Bairagi Road due to waterlogging at Azad Market underpass. Due to waterlogging at Gol Chakkar Murga Mandi, Ghazipur border, movement of people will be affected on both carriage routes from Akshardham to Ghaziabad and vice versa.
Vehicular movement on Aurobindo Marg in both carriageways from INA to AIIMS will be affected due to waterlogging under the AIIMS flyover.
Due to waterlogging below Tilak Bridge W-Point, traffic is affected on both carriageways from A-Point to W-Point and vice versa on W-Point Tilak Bridge Road.
Vehicular movement has been affected due to a tree falling on Mathura Road leading from Ashram to Badarpur. Sindhora Kalan village due to excessive waterlogging at underpass, Choki no. 2, Traffic is affected on both carriageways from Gulabi Bagh to Shakti Nagar and vice versa.
