The case of murder of property dealer Hrithik Pandey in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, is gaining momentum. On the night of July 21, some houses in Lucknow’s Banthra had no electricity. Some people went to the transformer to get the electricity repaired. It also featured 22-year-old Hrithik Pandey. Meanwhile, those people who had light in their house started protesting. A minor argument broke out between the protesters and Hrithik Pandey. The people present at the spot pacified the matter, but the ruckus started again around 10:30 in the night.

Hrithik was beaten to death with sticks

According to Hrithik’s father’s complaint, Avnish Singh, Himanshu Singh, Priyanshu Singh, Pratyush Singh, Shani Singh along with several of their accomplices entered the house with sticks and weapons. They started beating people present in the house. Hrithik was beaten so brutally that his condition worsened. He was rushed to hospital, where he died. The family accused the police of negligence.

The police watched the reel, chasing the family members from the police station

Hrithik’s family members said that when the accused barged into the house, we reached the Banthra police station and tried to file a complaint, but the policemen kept laughing and joking while watching the reels on mobile and chased us saying they would come in the morning. . After Hrithik’s death, the family started protesting outside the hospital, after which the situation escalated and the police also came into action.

So far, four policemen, including an inspector, have been suspended

When the role of the local police was investigated, several revelations emerged. The investigation report revealed that Banthra police station constable Yatendra Singh was in touch with the accused. Inspector Hemant Raghav was also aware of this. The inspector kept the matter under wraps. Inspector Hemant Raghav, two inspectors Subhash Yadav and Sushil Yadav and constable Yatendra Singh have been suspended in this case. Also, the investigation of the entire matter has been handed over to a senior officer.

No named accused has been arrested

No named accused has been arrested in this case yet. Police have detained some people and are interrogating them. Raids have been conducted in 15 places including Kanpur, Unnao in search of the named accused. Due to the non-arrest of the accused, many organizations belonging to the Brahmin community are continuously protesting. A Samajwadi Party (SP) delegation also went to meet the family members of the deceased.
