22 alien creatures found at Chennai airport
Foreign wild animals have been seized at the Chennai airport in Tamil Nadu. Their total number is 22. A man had brought all these exotic animals from Bangkok to Chennai airport when customs officials caught him. Apart from monkeys, turtles and pythons, many other creatures have been found with this man from Bangkok. Police suspect that such a large number of exotic animals found at Indian airports may be linked to a large animal smuggling racket.
Investigation is going on in this matter. The person with whom so many animals were found is a resident of India. Two persons are being arrested and questioned in this case, one of whom was the receiver and the other was outside the airport. The arrested person has been identified as Mohammad Meera Sardharali and the other as Siyamang Gibbon. Siamang is a resident of Indonesia and Malaysia.
