The dispute between West Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose and CM Mamata Banerjee has escalated. The Governor has talked about filing a defamation case in the High Court against CM Mamata Banerjee’s statement and now the Governor has taken another big step and recommended the removal of Kolkata Police Commissioner Vineet Goyal and DC Central Indira Mukherjee. According to Raj Bhavan sources, the Governor has sent a letter to the Central Personnel and Training Department in this regard.

According to Article 361 of the Constitution, the Governor has certain security powers. In such a situation, no criminal investigation can be done against him, but the Kolkata Police has started an investigation based on the complaint of a temporary woman employee of the Raj Bhavan.

According to Raj Bhavan sources, the Governor feels that this investigation against him is a violation of the Constitution. This time, for the same reason, Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose has recommended the removal of Calcutta Police Commissioner Vineet Goyal and DC Central Indira Mukherjee. According to sources, he has also sent a letter to the Centre’s Department of Personnel and Training, located in capital Delhi.

A huge dispute is going on between Mamata Banerjee and the Governor in this matter. On the Chief Minister’s statement, the Governor has said that he will file a defamation case in the High Court.
