Amid the ongoing debate on Electronic Voting Machines i.e. EVMs, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut has now hit out at the NDA and the Maharashtra government over the entire issue. In fact, due to Shinde faction MP Ravindra Vaikar winning from Maharashtra’s Mumbai North West Lok Sabha seat by just 48 votes, the opposition has got a chance to corner the government. It is alleged that the mobile phone of Vaikar’s relative is linked to the EVM.

Sanjay Raut has written on social media handle X that why Inspector PI Rajbhar of Vanrai Police Station suddenly went on leave? A person close to Vaikar, who is said to be his relative, is accused of trying to exchange Ravindra Vaikar’s mobile phone from the police station. Earlier, the world’s richest businessman Elon Musk also said that EVMs can be hacked. Quoting Musk’s statement, Sanjay Raut has said that the history of the Election Commission should be investigated.

Fadnavis and Shinde were also surrounded

All the staff present at the counting center on that day and Vandana Suryavanshi’s phone and all these should be checked. If the Pune Porsche accident accused can be saved by changing the blood sample, how can this mobile phone not be used for forensics? Sanjay Raut has said that the mastermind Devendra Fadnavis and his associate Eknath Shinde are behind this incident.

He has described the Election Commission as an extended commission of the BJP. Sanjay Raut further said that Amol Kirtikar was declared victorious twice that day. After this, Vandana Suryavanshi received a call at Nesco Centre. After which Ravindra Vaykar’s relative started walking around the counting center with the phone. After our pressure an FIR has been registered and 5 attempts have been made to replace that phone. Sanjay Raut has demanded to stop Ravindra Vaikar from taking oath as MP.

CM Shinde responded to the opposition’s allegations

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has responded to the allegations of the opposition. He has said that where Maha Vikas Aghadi has won, the EVM machines are correct. What kind of behavior is it to raise questions on the EVM machine when you have lost? Rahul Gandhi won from two seats, is there EVM machine right? He should be told that the EVM machines were faulty everywhere. I am contesting re-election after resigning.
