Accused of murdering nurse arrested
The police have cracked the case of the murder of Taslim Jahan, a nurse of a private hospital in Uttarakhand. On Wednesday, August 14, the police cracked the case of the gruesome murder in Rudrapur of Udham Singh Nagar district and arrested the accused from Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The accused is a laborer from Uttar Pradesh. Recently, a skeleton of a nurse was found along the border of Uttar Pradesh.
Taslim Jahan, a nurse working at a private hospital in Uttarakhand, went missing on July 30 last month. His body was found in a vacant plot in Uttar Pradesh’s Dibdiba area, which created a stir. It is being said that the accused Dharmendra took the deceased nurse to the bushes where he first raped her, then strangled her to death and fled after robbing her of her jewellery. Accused Dharmendra is a resident of Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh.
The deceased went missing on July 30.
In fact, 32-year-old Tasleem, a resident of Gadarpur’s Islamnagar, was a nurse at a private hospital in Nainital. She lived with her 11-year-old daughter in Bilaspur Colony. After going missing on July 30, her sister lodged a missing complaint at Rudrapur police station on July 31. After which the police took the matter seriously and started investigating the matter.

The body was found in the bushes
The police started scanning the CCTV cameras during which she was last seen near the colony. While explaining the murder, SSP Dr. Manjunath TC said that during investigation, missing Tasleem was found traveling in a tempo from Indra Chowk in Rudrapur. After this, the UP Police recovered the body of the missing person from the bushes which was sent for post-mortem. A police team was formed to investigate the matter.
In this case, the police have arrested the accused Dharmendra from Jodhpur. During interrogation he stated that he caught him on the way inside Basundhara Apartment, Kashipur Road with the intention of robbery. After this, they took her to a bush plot, raped her and strangled her to death. Along with this, he ran away with the money and jewelry kept in the purse.
