- Delhi Belly – Released in 2011, ‘Delhi Belly’ was offered to Ranbir Kapoor before Imran Khan. Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao produced this picture. The budget of the film was around 30 crore rupees. The film received a good response at the theatres.
- Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara – In the year 2011, ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ also hit the theatres. Zoya Akhtar first offered Ranbir Kapoor the role of Arjun Saluja, which was later played by Hrithik Roshan.
- Band Baja Baaraat – Ranbir Kapoor was the first choice of the makers for the 2010 romantic comedy film ‘Band Baja Baaraat’. After his refusal, Ranveer Singh entered the industry through this film.

- Dilwale- Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Dilwale’ was released in the year 2015. Ranbir was offered the role of Shahrukh’s brother for this film. After his refusal, the role went to Varun Dhawan.
