After which the student approached the Supreme Court for admission. The case was heard by a Supreme Court bench of Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice AS Bopanna.
A lawyer appearing in the court on behalf of the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA) said that now there are no seats available in any of the IITs. In such a situation Prince’s admission cannot be done now. After which the court ruled in favor of the student and directed IIT Bombay to admit him.
