A conspiracy was hatched to derail the train in Rajasthan’s Dungarpur. The anti-social elements placed iron bars on the railway tracks. But before any accident happened, the pilot of the oncoming train spotted him. He immediately stopped the train. As soon as the information was received, the railway officials reached the spot. An attempt was made to derail a train from Asarwa to Jaipur via Udaipur between Udaipur and Dungarpur around 11:30 on Sunday night. When the train reached Rishabhadev in Dungarpur, the pilot’s eyes fell on the track. Iron bars were lying there.
The bars were stuck in the engine of the train
The speed of the train was high, the driver applied brakes to stop the train, but the train moved forward a little. Some of the rods were also caught in the engine of the train. However, it did not cause any damage to the engine. After about 25 minutes the train was again dispatched to Udaipur. At the same time, now the Sadar Police Station of Dungarpur is busy investigating the matter. GRP officials are also investigating.
Even before this, a conspiracy to blow up the bridge on the same track came to light. Police arrested some youths in this case. On 12 November 2022, a plot to blow up the Oda Bridge was hatched and detonators were also used. Due to which there were cracks on the tracks, fortunately in the morning when some youths saw the cracks on the tracks, they informed the police about this. After this, the train coming to Udaipur was stopped midway.
Earlier on Thursday, a major train accident took place in UP’s Gonda district. About 10 coaches of Dibrugarh Express (15904) derailed. 4 passengers died in this accident. When more than 30 passengers were injured.
