After the incident, the police reached the spot
A horrific road accident took place in Rajasthan’s Bundi district on Sunday morning. In this accident, 6 people in the eco car died on the spot. While three other people are seriously injured. The injured were first admitted to a local hospital, from where they were referred to Kota. All these people were coming from Madhya Pradesh and were going to have Khatu Shyam Darshan in Sikar. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took possession of the bodies of all the dead and sent them for post-mortem.
The accident took place in Bundi’s Hindoli Police Station area. There was a head-on collision between a truck and an eco car near the overbridge adjacent to the lake on Sunday morning. The Eco car was heavily damaged in this accident. Six of the nine people traveling in the car died on the spot. While three people sitting behind were seriously injured. On receiving information about the accident, SP Bundi, CO Hindoli reached the spot along with the police force and admitted all the injured to the local hospital.
The injured were taken to hospital
As the condition of the three injured was critical, the doctors immediately referred them to Kota Hospital after providing first aid. According to the police, the bodies have been sent for post-mortem and their families have been informed. Police suspect that the accident delayed getting help to the injured and people were trapped in the car for a long time and died due to excessive bleeding.

According to the police, the truck driver fled from the scene of the accident. A case has been registered against him under relevant sections and a search has been initiated. According to Bundi SP Hanuman Prasad Meena, efforts are being made to identify the driver based on the registration number of the truck. He will be arrested soon. According to the police, it is suspected that the accident may have happened due to sleepiness of the truck or eco driver.
