Rajasthan Budget: 4 lakh recruitment in 5 years, new tourism policy, Rs 100 crore for Khatu Shyam Temple

Rajasthan Finance Minister Diya Kumari, while presenting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government’s first full budget in the assembly on Wednesday, promised to recruit 4 lakh in the next 5 years, create a policy for the youth, provide tap water. 100 crore was announced for Khatu Shyam Mandir besides providing water to 25 lakh rural households. It was also announced that Rajasthan Mandapam will be prepared in the state on the lines of Bharat Mandapam in Delhi.

While presenting the budget for the financial year 2024-25, Diya Kumari said that for the first time 9 greenfield expressways will be constructed in the state. The new greenfield expressway will be constructed 2750 km long. Apart from this, 20 tourist places will get Rs. Beautification will be done with 200 crores. It was also announced that students of meritorious schools will be given free tablets along with internet.

Sour dark on the lines of Vishwanath temple

Important announcements of the BJP government’s first budget included providing electricity connections to 2 lakh households, construction of a Rs 100 crore corridor at Khatu Shyam temple on the lines of Kashi Vishwanath temple and formation of Rajasthan Tourism Development Board. He said that 20 lakh families in Rajasthan are employed in the tourism sector. In such a situation, a new tourism policy will be introduced in the state.

He said that we will form a Tourism Development Board. Tourism development works worth more than 5 thousand crores will be done. Heritage, religious, eco-tourism development works will be done through this fund. 200 crore rupees will be spent for the development of 20 tourist spots.

27 thousand crores for health sector

Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari in her budget speech said that the state government has decided to work on 10 resolutions. First, the BJP government is committed to making Rajasthan a $350 billion economy, improving water, electricity and road facilities, besides planned urban development and empowering farmers. He said that 27 thousand crore rupees have been kept for the health sector in the budget.

Finance Minister Dia said that Rs 15,000 crore will be spent this year to provide tap water to 25 lakh rural households. The budget announced 2 new solar parks in the state, one in Jaisalmer and one in Pugal. He said that in the next two years, 2,08,000 households which were deprived of electricity will be provided domestic electricity connection. Apart from this, a model solar village will be built under PM Surya Ghar Yojana. Smart meters will be installed to prevent electricity leakage. More than 25 lakh smart meters will be installed this year.

644 crore for repair of roads

He said that basic development works from Rs 5 crore and other works from Rs 3 crore will be done in all the assemblies. 53 thousand kilometers of roads will be built in the state. 644 crore rupees will be spent on road repairs.

In her budget, Diya Kumari said that new recruitment will be done in roadways. He announced the recruitment of 1650 posts in Roadways. An honor fund of 2 thousand rupees was also started for farmers. Apart from this, a target of providing tap water to 25 lakh households has been set. While ‘Mission Hariyalo Rajasthan’ will be run in Rajasthan. The entire state will be made Green Rajasthan.
