Rain alert: Heavy rain in the next 5 days, what is the weather department’s warning?

Monsoon: Citizens waiting for monsoon will soon get good news. Rain will start in North India in the next three to four days. In such a situation, many states including Maharashtra will get relief from heat. Kerala, Karnataka, Konkan, Goa are likely to receive heavy to very heavy rains for the next five days. Heavy rain warning has been issued in at least 20 states for the next five days.

Heat wave conditions continued in many areas in the last 24 hours. These include South Uttar Pradesh, Odisha. Temperatures of 40-42 degrees Celsius were recorded in western Rajasthan, southern Uttar Pradesh, northern Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, eastern Rajasthan and Gujarat. Apart from this, heavy to very heavy rains occurred in Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Bihar, West Madhya Pradesh, northern interior Karnataka, Arunachal Pradesh, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand, eastern Madhya Pradesh.

The Meteorological Department said that the southwest monsoon has now reached parts of Maharashtra, rest of Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Jharkhand. In the next three to four days, the monsoon will reach Gujarat, rest of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh.

Heavy rain predicted in Maharashtra

According to the Meteorological Department, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub Himalayan West Bengal will receive heavy rains for the next five days. Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Andaman and Nicobar Islands will also receive heavy rains for the next five days. Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada have been warned of heavy rains with stormy winds and lightning for the next five days.

Talking about South India, Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal are also likely to receive heavy rains for the next five days. In North India, heavy rains are expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan for the next five days.
