Along with temples of Braj, the birth of Radha Rani is also celebrated in homes. A large number of devotees are reaching for darshan at Rawal, the birthplace of Radha Rani. Thousands of devotees are going to the village to visit the temple of Radha Rani. Maha Abhishekam of Radha Rani was performed in the temple with 1.25 kg Panchamrut.

The ancient village of Rawal is the birthplace of Radha Rani. Apart from this, thousands of devotees have reached places like Barsana, Mathura, Vrindavan etc. in Braj. Radha Ashtami festival was celebrated with pomp in Rawal village. The temple was lavishly decorated on this auspicious occasion. Rawal village is located 15 km from Mathura. A flood of devotees was seen at the temple of Radha Rani in the village since Wednesday morning. Preparations are going on in the temple for the last several days of Radha Ashtami. The temple was decorated with colorful lights and many kinds of flowers. At half past four in the morning, the idol of Radha Rani was brought before the devotees. Mahaabhishek of Radha Rani began in front of the devotees. As soon as the Abhishek started in the temple, the chanting of mantras and the sound of bells rang out. All the devotees were eager to see Radha Rani. He was feeling blessed to see Radha Rani’s Mahaabhishek.

Anointed with Panchamrut

Radha Rani was anointed with panchamrut along with 1.25 kg of milk, curd, ghee and boora. After which Radha Rani was dressed in new clothes. Giving information about this, Rahul Goswami, the priest of Radha Rani temple of Rawal village, said that like every year, the birth of Radha Rani is being celebrated with pomp this year too. This time too, a flood of devotees is being seen. Security arrangements have also been well made by the administration. One and a half kg of Panchamrut has been used in this Abhishek.
